Overview

JOB SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Property President, the candidate will be responsible leading a team of professionals to drive optimum performance in the high end table and slot business at one of the most successful gaming properties in the U.S. by identifying new markets and new customers, suggesting opportunities to strengthen relationships as well as share of wallet from existing customers and re-engaging customers who are either reducing frequency or spending. 

Responsibilities

  • Develop a highly competent Casino Marketing/Player Development team that are both strong team players and contributors
  • Work with Corporate SVP Casino Marketing to review and identify opportunities regarding customer reinvestment and contact strategies to drive stronger engagement and loyalty among our target high end customers
  • Work with sister properties and branch offices across the SGA and HRI brands to drive cross-market business
  • Identify and make introductions to one-off Independent Agents both domestically and internationally
  • Develop a Player Development team that maintains strong relationships with UVIP customers and their intermediaries
  • Work with Corporate SVP Casino Marketing to drive the successful implementation of Salesforce.com contact management tools and the subsequent adoption of contact management assignments
  • Develop new business relationships and maintain relationships with existing patrons through frequent personal contact in order to generate new and incremental gaming trips from high level guests and increase gaming revenue.
  • Determine and approve the issuance of appropriate player reinvestment such as complimentary and gifts
  • Maintain professional and courteous relationships with team members in Casino Marketing and Player Development and across all departments to enhance the productivity and effectiveness of the Player Development department and all property operations.
  • Constantly monitor best industry practices for driving success at the high end slot and table business
  • Communicate frequently to other properties leaders and SGA leadership as to the department strategies and achievements and where your team needs support to enhance overall property success
  • Ensure appropriate staffing levels to best manage labor costs while maintaining outstanding guest service.
  • Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Four Year College Degree
  • At least fifteen (15) years of senior level management in Casino Marketing/Player Development capacity, preferably with large casino properties that cater to the Ultra High End VIPs
  • Experience in using desktop computers, MS Office applications, and casino software applications for player tracking and reporting data.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays. Travel when needed. 
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication, multi-tasking and team building skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

 

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Constant exposure to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, crowds, second hand smoke and excessive noise.  Occasional time in office consisting of environmental factors typical in an indoor, climate controlled office environment. Must be able to continuously maneuver around the property, often standing for long hours. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues. Must have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other office equipment. Must be able to lift 30 pounds and able to bend, reach and stoop on a limited basis.

The Tribal Council gives preference in all of its employment practices to Native Americans. First preference in hiring, training, promoting and in all other aspects of employment is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements. Second preference is given to members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet the job requirements.

 

As part of Seminole Gaming’s employment process, final candidates will be required to obtain gaming licensure by completing a background check with Seminole Gaming Compliance and Regulations, prior to an offer being extended. These background checks may include, but are not limited to:
