The Digital Marketing Specialist will collaborate with the Advertising Manager to implement the company’s overall digital marketing strategy including social media, internet advertising, digital signage and more. This individual will be responsible for the entirety of the brand’s web presence, such as, but not limited to, research, strategy and implementation of all social media marketing efforts, creating and planning paid online advertising, SEO, overseeing website updates, and tracking online PR content.
The ideal candidate is highly motivated and passionate about emerging forms of digital technology and social media trends, has experience in managing professional social media and digital ad campaigns, and is adept at gleaning and reporting insights based on data and analytics,. Proficiency in photography, videography, graphics creation, content editing, and copywriting is preferred.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for building, curating content and maintaining of all social media platforms, including but not limited to company Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
- Lead planning, development and implementation of social media strategies, editorial calendar, and tactical plans, ensuring that all social media messages, measurements and content are relevant to target audience.
- Provide onsite presence for events/promotions for content building and live social media engagement.
- Maintain and update digital signage across property, utilizing various digital content platforms.
- On an ongoing basis, measure and report performance of all marketing activities, and assets against goals, identify trends and insight, and optimize plan based on these insights.
- Obtain Bids and initiate purchases in accordance with company policy. Work with Purchasing and receiving on inventory and deliveries of items.
- Responsible for reviewing and updating content on company customer-facing website(s).
- Coordinating with Social Gaming team to updating content, implement advertising and manage personalization rules.
- Assist with email campaign process with design agency from beginning to end including reviewing data and presenting analysis to the leadership team.
- Leverage analytics and A/B testing capabilities to improve marketing strategies and report KPI’s.
- Assist with developing, implementing and maintaining of SEO strategies.
- Ensure SEO and digital properties such as Google, Yelp, Bing, etc. are regularly updated with correct information and links, etc.
- Keep current with emerging technologies through digital, website and social avenues. Keep track of latest innovations and recent cutting edge launches in order to identify opportunities.
- Assist media buying company in the developing of digital and online related campaigns including coordination of creative and trafficking deliverables.
- Schedule, manage content creation and publish content while maintaining a consistent presence across all digital channels: desktop sites, mobile sites, onsite digital LCD displays (promotional and Food & Beverage), etc.
- Assist with other Marketing and Advertising projects as assigned, including direct mail, collateral, signage, ads, PR and more.
- Support other key marketing efforts as needed.
- BA/BS degree in digital marketing (or related) field or comparable experience preferred.
- Experience in optimizing website content, landing pages and user funnels and executing A/B and multivariate testing.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other web code beneficial but not required.
- Experience writing and maintaining policy, process and procedure documentation.
- Experience with digital signage platforms such as Cool Sign, Tripleplay and Four Winds Interactive.
- Project management skills to prioritize and drive initiatives forward.
- Recent, hands-on knowledge of web analytics tools such as Adobe and Google analytics.
- Intensive knowledge of social platform’s best practices: Facebook, Instagram, Google, Twitter and LinkedIn.
- Experience with Sitecore and WordPress CMS platforms.
- Experience with Social Media publishing and listening tools such as HootSuite, Adobe Social, Sprinklr and Radian6.
- Experience with the Adobe Suite applications including Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, InDesign and Audition. After Effects.
- Ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal formats.
- Ability to adapt to the style, tonality and vernacular of the current “voice” of employee and consumer facing Facebook and other social mediums.
- Work well under pressure of deadlines.
- Have the ability to exercise a great deal of initiative, forward strategic thinking and independent judgement.
- Technology savvy with solid understanding of the web, online market, direct marketing and best e-mail practices.
