Responsibilities

The Holiday Event Entertainers – Greeters Level 3 serves as an ambassador of the Hard Rock the Holidays, leading the guest experience team in creating a seamless, joyful, and memorable event. This role includes ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • All Holiday Event Greeter Level 1 and 2 duties, plus:
  • Lead and support a team of greeters stationed throughout the event.
  • Serve as the point of contact for elevated guest concerns and VIP guests.
  • Oversee event flow, and coordinate with event management, security, and operations to solve issues quickly.
  • Represent the festival as a key ambassador, embodying holiday spirit at all times.
  • Support safety by noticing and reporting any potential hazards or guest concerns.
  • Maintain a friendly, positive and approachable presence throughout the event.
  • Collaborate with event staff to ensure smooth crowd flow and safety during interactions.
  • Maintains a clean, safe, & healthy work environment.
  • Must contain thorough knowledge of holiday event, concessions, restrooms, merchandising, and all other pertinent areas within the poolside festival.
  • Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures.
  • Participate in photoshoots for advertisements on various media outlets including, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, property collateral, etc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Energetic, holiday spirited, with prior customer service, hospitality, or event experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and team coordination skills.
  • Strong knowledge of event layout, programming, and safety procedures.
  • Ability to remain calm and positive under pressure while maintaining festive energy.
  • Confident and comfortable engaging with large groups.
  • Must be open to work a season position – full time hours will be given.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred along with 1 - 2 years of customer service experience.

 

Work Environment:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
  • The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public. 
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.

The Tribal Council gives preference in all of its employment practices to Native Americans. First preference in hiring, training, promoting and in all other aspects of employment is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements. Second preference is given to members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet the job requirements.

As part of Seminole Gaming’s employment process, final candidates will be required to obtain gaming licensure by completing a background check with Seminole Gaming Compliance and Regulations, prior to an offer being extended. These background checks may include, but are not limited to:
