Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Advertising Manager, the incumbent is responsible for assisting and providing support in planning and implementing of LATAM marketing initiatives. This Specialist will need to understand the diverse cultures, languages, and markets within the LATAM Market in South Florida and tailor marketing campaigns effectively in both English and Spanish.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate marketing strategies to drive business growth within the LATAM market in South and Central Florida.
  • Coordinate all aspects of advertising, including but not limited to direct mail, digital, radio, TV, print and social media.
  • Write creative briefs to the agency for all advertising needs including direct mail, e-blasts, and all collateral pieces.
  • Proofreading content throughout all advertising channels (mailers, vouchers, posters, rack cards, brochures, digital etc.).
  • Install and remove property signage as need.
  • Update & audit signage & branding throughout property.
  • Interface with all department heads to ensure timely development of creative materials for all property initiatives & promotions.
  • Coordinate production schedule, tracking and delivery for all off site signage (billboards, stadium, malls)
  • Ensure advertising run lists are accurate and deadlines are maintained and monitored.
  • Prepare and enter purchase orders for services from agencies and vendors; process invoices, order supplies, maintain purchase logs.
  • Coordinate photo and video shoots and prepare shot lists.
  • Maintain up to date photo & logo libraries.
  • Coordinate creation, delivery and distribution for projects including, but not limited to, Poker Room, the spa, food and beverage, hotel & pool operations, valet, The Shoppes & third party vendors, Human Resources, Sales & Catering, Hard Rock Live and Hard Rock Stadium.  Projects will include direct mail, special event invitations, ads, menus, key cards, print ads, directional signage, backlights, rack cards, etc.Coordinate outdoor advertising production and installation.  Route and maintain all billboard contracts.

  • Maintain electronic and hard copy files of all completed production jobs.
  • Develop PowerPoint updates to Staff Meetings and Campaign Overviews.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate managers of concerns and observations.
  • Demonstrate actions and behaviors that reinforce the Company’s Mission and Values of Communication, Integrity, Fun, Respect, Accountability, Passion and Dedication
  • Ensure prompt and discreet notification to managers and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations.
  • Works with internal clients, departments, agencies, and vendors to collaborate and drive business outcomes.

Qualifications

Two (2) - Three (3) years of experience in similar position and High School diploma requiredAttending school & working towards a BS or BA in Business, Advertising, Marketing or related field a plus

 

Additional Requirements:

  • Candidate must be fluent in Spanish (written and verbal), and English.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Above average organizational skills.
  • Must be an excellent copy writer and proofreader.
  • Must be able to analyze marketing and promotions data.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office-Outlook, Excel, Power Point and Word.
  • Must have ability to multi-task and work under pressure with quick problem solving skills.
  • Knowledge of media buying, reviewing media related summaries, flowcharts and media schedules.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays may be required.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.   • The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public. 
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
