Under the direction of the Slot Technical Supervisor, the candidate applies electrical theory and related knowledge to test, troubleshoot, repair and maintain the slot machines related gaming components and equipment. The Slot Technician III performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, software and hardware upgrades on all slot machines in accordance with the manufactures Operation and Service Guide and department policies and procedures.

Education and/or Experience:
High School diploma GED required, technical training preferred, with a minimum of two (2) years of slot machine repair experience; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills:
Candidate must be able to read and understand all Seminole Tribe of Florida policies and procedures. Candidate must also be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
Mathematical Skills:
Must possess basic mathematical skills to include ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide specific to position responsibilities.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:
Must apply for, obtain and remain eligible for the appropriate Seminole Tribal Gaming License.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to; use hands, reach with hands and arms, frequently lift up to 50 pounds, talk and hear. Also required are frequent, standing, walking, stooping, bending, reaching, climbing steps and sitting. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision.
Work Environment:
May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke and excessive noise.
Indian Preference Policy:
In accordance with the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Title VII, Part III, Section 703, Exemption of Native Americans and Tribal Ordinance C-109-80 which mandates that preference be given to Indians when hiring, promotions, training and all other aspects of employment. First preference in hiring, training, promoting and all other aspects of employment will be afforded to members of the Seminole Tribe of Florida who meet the minimum job requirements.
