Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the Compliance Manager, incumbent provides support in all Compliance and related activities. Provides assistance with the daily administration of Title 31 reports and with monitoring compliance with the rules of Title 31 and Internal Control Standards (ICS).

 

Essential Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Must adhere to the Seminole Tribe of Florida's Policies and Procedures, TICS, Title 31, and PCI.
  • Conducts day-to-day audit of all documents generated from the operating departments and ensure compliance with TICS and Title 31. Any discrepancies are logged and submitted to management.
  • Ensure timely preparation for filing of CTRs/SARs and refiling incomplete CTRs/SARs when additional information is obtained.
  • Provide assistance in preparation and distribution of compliance related documents including quarterly reports of compliance and exceptions for review by Compliance Committee.
  • Provide assistance in coordination of the audit process with both internal and external auditors. Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of compliance documentation.
  • Maintain compliance records, audits and reports.
  • Ensure prompt and discrete notification to management and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required along with one (1) year of experience performing general office duties, including creating and updating spreadsheets on MS Excel software program.
  • Must have strong knowledge of MS Excel and working knowledge of MS Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Auditing/accounting experience preferred. Experience with casino operations and with Seminole Tribe Gaming Compliance and federal rules and regulations also preferred.
  • Must have excellent record keeping skills.
  • Must be able to meet time sensitive deadlines.
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
  • The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public. 
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
