Overview

Under the direction of the SGA VP of Entertainment, the individual will serve as a crucial piece of all facets of the entertainment pipeline and process including contract admin, travel and hotel arrangements for artists and entertainment industry VIPs, and the Seminole Gaming Vendor Registration process. This person will coordinate all things Talent hospitality, from date of booking, coordinating all talent’s “off-stage” needs before, during visit and after the show. 

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Coordinates the Seminole Gaming Vendor Registration process for all artists, promoters, and agencies that Hard Rock Live contracts with
  • Manages all administrative pieces of the artist/show contracting procedure alongside the Entertainment Manager
  • Coordinate Administrative tasks for SGA VP of Entertainment as assigned
  • Handle the Certificate of Insurance approval process alongside the Operations Manager
  • Works with Artists/Tours to arrange for hotel rooms, ground transportation, security escorts, and any other functions of logistics for the artist’s team
  • Coordinate buildout and execution of proprietary venue booking software – this will serve as the main project management tool for all aspects of the Hard Rock Live function
  • Handle high profile, high risk issues with finesse and determine appropriate course of action.
  • Administer booking research at the direction of the SGA VP of Entertainment
  • Coordinate Tickets for Industry VIPs (hand deliver, escort to seats/backstage, etc)
  • Support Booking team with administrative tasks (booking VIP hotel rooms, restaurant reservations, scheduling meetings, etc.)
  • Support Hard Rock Live General Manager with administrative tasks as assigned
  • Develop department members’ knowledge and skills through education, training, coaching, counseling, etc.
  • Oversee compliance with all regulatory requirements

Qualifications

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Entertainment/Sports Management, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations or equivalent education and experience.
  • At least 1 years of experience within Entertainment, Venue Management, Marketing, or related field.
  • Strong organization skills a must. Detail-oriented and multi-task during high-stress situations.
  • Able to meet short-notice deadlines.
  • Able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge and passion for media relations practice and social media strategy.
  • Able to manage high impact and critical communications situations.
  • Strong working knowledge of local, regional and national media industry.
  • Demonstrated professional, effective writing skills and polished verbal skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

 

Work Environment:

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

  • The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public. 
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
