Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Vice President of Casino Marketing, the incumbent is responsible for developing and maintaining new casino patron and business relationships to increase awareness, drive trial, and build customer loyalty resulting in frequent trips with high level casino play. 

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

May include but are not limited to:

  • Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures
  • Developing new business relationships and maintaining relationships with existing patrons through personal contact in order to generate incremental gaming revenues.
  • Determine and approve the issuance of appropriate player reinvestment through complimentaries and point redemption. 
  • Serves as an ongoing ambassador and advocate for our gaming product and amenities to valued guests. 
  • Serves as a resource and provides guidance for hosts, executive hosts and player development executives.
  • Maintain the highest standards of ethical business conduct.
  • Oversee and manage the Player Development Executive team, Executive Host team, Casino Host team, and Player Development Coordinators.
  • Develop new business relationships and maintain relationships with existing patrons through frequent personal contact in order to generate new and incremental gaming trips from high level guests.
  • Determine and approve the issuance of appropriate player reinvestment such as complimentaries and gifts.
  • Attend functions hosted by property to serve and assist invited guests
  • Serve as an ongoing ambassador and advocate for our gaming product and amenities to valued guests.
  • Provide guidance for hosts, executive hosts and player development executives.
  • Maintain professional and courteous relationships with team members in Player Development and across all departments to enhance the productivity and effectiveness of the Player Development department and all property operations.
  • Develop department members’ knowledge and skills through education, training, coaching, corrective counseling, etc.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations.
  • Conduct personal behavior and select, train, coach, counsel, appraise and retain direct reports who consistently perform actions and behaviors that reinforce the Company’s Mission and Values of Communication, Integrity, Fun, Respect, Accountability, Passion and Dedication.
  • Demonstrate commitment to assisting in the development of Seminole Tribe members participating in the Tribal Career Development program and, when a Seminole Tribe member’s assignment falls within your direct area of responsibility, act as a personal mentor/career advisor to the Tribe Member and submit progress reports and information to the Director of Tribal Development.
  • Ensure prompt and discreet notification to appropriate management and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations.
  • Demonstrate actions and behaviors that reinforce the Company’s Mission and Values of Communication, Integrity, Fun, Respect, Accountability, Passion and Dedication.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelors degree in related field preferred.
  • Fifteen (15) to twenty (20) years of player development experience, with executive host or director level experience preferred. Must bring extensive existing player relationships (with significant high level players) to this position that will forge new player relationships with Seminole Hard Rock, or reactivate previous player relationships.
  • Experience in using desktop computers, MS Office applications, and casino software applications for player tracking and reporting data required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Will be exposed to casino related factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise, large crowds and stress related to servicing guests in a high pressure and fast paced environment. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an incumbent to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The team member frequently is required to stand and walk. Must be able to continuously maneuver around the office and property, often standing for long hours. Must have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other office equipment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, and depth perception. Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 30 lbs and able to bend, reach and stoop on a limited basis. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.

The Tribal Council gives preference in all of its employment practices to Native Americans. First preference in hiring, training, promoting and in all other aspects of employment is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements. Second preference is given to members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet the job requirements.
