Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Slots Supervisor, incumbent greets guests, provides information pertaining to games and provides customers with proper change.  This is a Customer Service position responsible for paying jackpots and assisting guests on the casino floor.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

 

Essential job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Communicates all customer service issues to key personnel.
  • Accurately performs customer transactions. 
  • Provides superior customer service, positively effects interactions with external and internal customers and      employees.
  • Has the resiliency to deal with difficult customers in all types of business conditions and the ability to work harmoniously with coworkers.
  • Pays and verifies jackpots on slot machines according to established procedures.
  • Promotes the Club Card Program as well as understand/presents current card benefits and program information to customers. 
  • Accurately maintains money flow during shift with customers and employees.
  • Monitors work areas to ensure cleanliness standards are achieved and customer requests are addressed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum one year experience and some customer services experience preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience. 
  • Must be able to learn all of the Slots games and explain rules to guests. 
  • Must possess basic math skills.
  • Count money accurately and balance cash drawer. 
  • Must be able to sit, bend, walk, kneel, push and lift 25-50 lbs. daily.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to; use hands, reach with hands and arms, frequently lift up to 50 pounds, talk and hear. Also required are frequent, standing, walking, stooping, bending, reaching, climbing steps and sitting. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision.
  • May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to: second hand smoke, excessive noise, and exposure to general public.
  • The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced, often crowded and noisy.
