Responsibilities

The incumbent in this position is responsible for providing superior service to both the internal and external guests as well as complete assigned Bingo duties.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

May include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for supplying and advising customers with requested bingo paper, pull tabs and information about the bingo games.
  • Verifies all  winners.
  • Responsible for pay outs to game winners.
  • Maintains awareness of all Bingo activities.
  • Adheres to all Casino policies and procedures and internal controls.
  • Responsible for assisting new customers on how game is played.
  • Responsible for maintaining cash impress bank.
  • Issue and return paper and pull tabs to Bingo Clerks, maintain adequate supply of bingo paper and cash for change during shift and end of shift. 
  • Have paperwork sign off on accuracy of inventory returned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be able to commute mathematical tools quickly and accurately. 
  • Must have the ability to perform assigned duties in highly disruptive conditions.
  • Must be able to maintain visual attention and mental concentration for significant periods of time.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are a must.
  • This position  must be able to stand for long periods of time, speak clearly and have excellent customer service skills.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to: second hand smoke, excessive noise, and constant exposure to general public.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
  • The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced, often crowded and noisy.

The Tribal Council gives preference in all of its employment practices to Native Americans. Second preference is given to members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet the job requirements.
