Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY:

 

The incumbent in this position is responsible for soliciting and identifying new gaming customers for the Players Club program.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

 

Essential job duties include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Maintaining customer information.
  • Assuring the highest standards of data entry. 
  • This is an hourly position TIPS may not be accepted. 
  • Greet guests as they arrive and thank them as they leave. 
  • Demonstrate exceptional guest courtesy to both internal and external customers with every interaction, whether in person or by telephone. 
  • Provide timely and accurate enrollment into the Seminole Players Club program both at the PC desk and on the floor. 
  • Enter customer data timely, accurately and adhere to company rules and guidelines.
  • Redeem customer points for rewards, gifts, and etc.
  • Assist guest with promotional offers as received via direct mail or other advertising. 
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are followed with all required paperwork completed and filed accurately. 
  • Ensure all guests are fully informed of the benefits and features of the Players Club as they sign up and as promotions/special events/offers change or are updated. 
  • Resolve problem situations for our players immediately. 
  • Handle crowd control effectively with consideration for our guests. 
  • Announce drawings, events and special promotions on the public address system.
  • Execute/assist with drawings and promotions as directed. 
  • Keep informed on how machines operate and be able to explain the operation of all gaming activities to guest.  It is the responsibility of each Players Club Representative to learn how new games operate as soon as they are added to the floor.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience required. 
  • Previous customer service experience, telemarketing or retail sales experience preferred.
  • Applicant must be able to work flexible schedule to include evenings, weekend, and holidays. 
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and handle customer inquiries in a courteous and professional manner. 
  • Typing skills required with a minimum of at least 25 words per minute. 
  • Previous computer experience required including data entry.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise, and constant exposure to general public.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
  • The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced, often crowded and noisy.

 

CLOSING:

The Tribal Council gives preference in all of its employment practices to Native Americans. First preference in hiring, training, promoting and in all other aspects of employment is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements. Second preference is given to members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet the job requirements.

 

As part of Seminole Gaming’s employment process, final candidates will be required to obtain gaming licensure by completing a background check with Seminole Gaming Compliance and Regulations, prior to an offer being extended. These background checks may include, but are not limited to:
