ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

May include but are not limited to:

• Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures.
• Provides basic treatments, such as manicures and pedicures
• Delivers outstanding Guest service while providing high quality nail services in accordance with established company procedures
• Embodies and drives the company's mission statement.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Ability to deliver a service level which creates an atmosphere that makes our guest want to return, giving each guest a positive, memorable entertainment experience.

• Must hold a valid Cosmetology or Nail Technician license issued by the state of Florida
• Minimum of 2 -year experience in a luxury spa setting is required
• Must have strong coping and communication skills capable of professional decision making and effective problem solving while attending to our guests and fellow employees
• Ability to respond to guests needs while always maintaining a professional scope of practice
• A positive and energetic personality with a desire to succeed in the spa industry
• Must possess exceptional guest service skills
• Must be fluent in English and able to communicate effectively with guests and team members
• Must have basic computer skills
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities
• Ability to read and understand all Seminole Tribe of Florida policies and procedures

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an incumbent to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position:

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Requires frequent standing, walking, and some sitting.  Must be able to reach with hands and arms. 
• Specific vision abilities required for this position include good close, distance, color and peripheral vision and depth perception.
• Position typically performed in both a professional office environment and on the hotel/casino floor with constant exposure to guests, noise and second hand smoke.

CLOSING:

The Tribal Council gives preference in all of its employment practices to Native Americans. First preference in hiring, training, promoting and in all other aspects of employment is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements. Second preference is given to members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet the job requirements.
