Under the supervision of the VIP Services Manager, the incumbent provides exceptional personalized service to guests. Acts as the guests’ personal coordinator throughout their stay. Displays great tact, diplomacy and hospitality during all guest interactions.


Essential Job Functions:

  • The ability to prioritize and make decisions at a high level and fast pace, by utilizing proper resources.
  • Greets all VIP Hard Rock guests upon arrival and escorts them to their Suites. Explains facilities, services and attractions available for their comfort and pleasure and fulfills all requests that are possible for the guest with the collaboration of all Hard Rock Butlers.
  • Serves meals, snacks, tea, hors d’oeuvres, cocktails and other food and beverage items in guest suites from both casual and fine dining restaurants.
  • Assists guest in unpacking, packing and the selection, care and maintenance of their wardrobe. Polishes shoes, removes spots, brushes, presses, performs minor repairs to clothing items and arranges for laundry and dry cleaning services and return of these items to the guest’s wardrobe.
  • Arranges for personal services, such as, but not limited to haircutting and styling, manicure, massage, etc. Draws and assists guest with bath, dressing and other personal needs as requested at all times with the intention to offer the best type of services. Remains immediately available during assigned shift to respond to guest’s needs.
  •  Coordinates housekeeping services by notifying the Housekeeping and Concierge of appropriate times to provide clearing, turn down services etc. Coordinates special requests made by the guests with the VIP Manager on behalf of the Casino Host or other management.
  • Maintains an adequate par stock of food and beverage items necessary to meet the needs of guests as approved by the Butler Manager. Maintains Butler’s pantry and all other assigned areas in neat and serviceable conditions. Reports deficiencies or safety hazards to the Butler Manager and coordinates corrective action. Responsible for glassware, china, silver and linen as well as any other items such as a humidifier that may be used during a guest’s stay.
  • Maintains confidentiality of guest information and activities. Provides documentation on a daily basis to the VIP Manager/Director of special requests and particular likes and dislikes of each guest which is to be used by the Hard Rock staff for future visits and updated in the Guest History Profiles.
  • Allocates work time in such a way that can attend to the responsibilities assigned. Continually updates and attends training classes as mandated by management to assist in furthering their knowledge and skills.
  • Maintains Butler’s pantry and all other assigned areas in neat and serviceable conditions.
  • Coordinates special requests made by the guests with the VIP Manager/Director on behalf of the Casino Host or other management.
  • Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.


Two years college preferred as well as a minimum (2) two years management experience in first class hotel, casino, restaurant or related hospitality area. A basic understanding of food and beverage service skills including room service, wine and spirits knowledge or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
  • The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public. 
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.



The Tribal Council gives preference in all of its employment practices to Native Americans. First preference in hiring, training, promoting and in all other aspects of employment is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements. Second preference is given to members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet the job requirements.
