ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Bending, lifting over 20 pounds at time, standing for several hours at a time.
May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke and excessive noise.
Bachelor of Arts in Restaurant Management or related field and one to three (1-3) years of restaurant supervisory experience is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience. Must possess basic mathematical skills to include ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide specific to position responsibilities. Must be able to analyze Food & Beverage data. Proficient knowledge of software programs such as Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. Must hold current Food Handling Certificate. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds. Requires frequent standing and walking, and some sitting. Must be able to reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required for this position include good close, distance, color, peripheral vision and depth perception.
Background in food service business and past management experience is required for this position. Position requires person to be able to supervise and coordinate the varied activities and personnel required to operate a Food & Beverage area. This person must be trustworthy, experienced at handling cash, be able to complete paperwork, and have a strong working knowledge of computer applications. Management responsibilities must be performed by walking around to various areas of the department, while all other duties may be performed while sitting down. This person must be able and willing to lead others with the highest level of integrity, display a positive attitude and be dedicated to the mission of the company. Position also requires a detailed and organized individual capable of working in an atmosphere where numerous interruptions to job tasks being performed may occur. In addition, this person must be granted a Gaming License, receive Title 31 training, and pass the Title 31 examination.
The Tribal Council gives preference in all of its employment practices to Native Americans.
