    In addition to its two Seminole Hard Rock Hotels & Casinos, the Seminole Tribe owns and operates the five Seminole Casinos in Coconut Creek and Hollywood, on the Southeast coast in Immokalee near Naples, on the Brighton Reservation north of Lake Okeechobee, and on the Big Cypress Reservation south of Lake Okeechobee.

In March 2007, the Seminole Tribe of Florida acquired Hard Rock International, the first transaction of its kind by an Indian tribe. Hard Rock International is one of the most globally recognized music, entertainment, leisure and dining brands. It includes the world’s largest collection of authentic music memorabilia. The deal also includes licensing or franchise agreements for additional restaurants, hotels and Hard Rock Live performance venues.

    Responsibilities

    Under the direction of the Director of Labor Analysis the incumbent oversees the financial analysis team and performs financial, operational, labor and technical analyses. This position provides support to enterprise management by ensuring business strategies and financial goals are achieved.

     

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Adhere to the Seminole Tribe of Florida's Policies and Procedures.
    • Manage and develop a team of Analysts to support the business units
    • Coordinate and support business and financial planning, including short and long term financial forecasting. Assist in the development and monitoring of service level agreements.
    • Support the annual budget process.
    • Facilitate the issuance of Daily Operating Report.
    • Support the Capital Expenditure process.
    • Assist in assessing and communicating financial and operating results to managers.
    • Responsible for monthly executive financial reporting.
    • Provide property specific labor reporting and analysis to including FTE & Overtime Reports, Turnover and productivity Reports.
    • Assist the Purchasing department in the issuance and review of RFP’s.
    • Develop appropriate financial and operating metrics for use by management in decision making.
    • Ensure departmental goals and performance measures are understood and achieved by managers.
    • Provide support for centralized functions associated with the respective business enterprise. Centralized functions include, accounting, treasury, financial planning and tax.
    • Evaluate and develop financial analysis tools to assess growth, investment or liquidation options.
    • Participate in the assessment of current systems and business processes for adequacy and consistency.
    • Develop financial and operating statements.
    • Assists and/or presents information.
    • Schedule review meetings with managers to identify and implement process improvements.
    • Communicate effectively with all levels of management.
    • Perform other duties and functions as may be required by the CFO of Seminole Gaming or the Senior Vice President of Finance.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in finance, business or accounting.
    • Master’s Degree and/or professional certification preferred.
    • Expertise (ability to build and support reports/analytical tools) in the following programs is highly valued: Excel, Cognos, SQL, Word, Powerpoint and Infinium
    • Two to four 4 years of financial analysis experience in the Gaming/Hospitality industry.

     

     

    The Tribal Council gives preference in all of its employment practices to Native Americans. First preference in hiring, training, promoting and in all other aspects of employment is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements. Second preference is given to members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet the job requirements.

     

    As part of Seminole Gaming’s employment process, final candidates will be required to obtain gaming licensure by completing a background check with Seminole Gaming Compliance and Regulations, prior to an offer being extended. These background checks may include, but are not limited to:
