    Responsibilities

    As a Casino Cashier, a typical day might include the following:

    • Controlling and accounting of transactions for the cage windows, main bank, chip bank and check bank 
    • Performs high volume cash and non-cash transactions for our guests and internal customers in a courteous, accurate, and timely manner
    • Transfer cash, chips and checks between cages and/or departments in an accurate and efficient manner
    • Promote positive public/team member relations at all times
    • Other duties as assigned by Cage Management Team

    Qualifications

    This position might be for you if:

    • You have a High School Diploma or equivalent required as well as a minimum of six (6) months to one (1) year of high-volume money handling or cashiering experience; ideally in the casino or banking industry
    • You enjoy problem solving and possess strong cash handling/counting skills
    • You pay attention to details and go above and beyond to accomplish position responsibilities in an effort to play a role in the achievement of organizational goals
    • You can deliver a service level which creates an atmosphere that makes our guests want to return, giving each guest a positive, memorable entertainment experience

    Work Environment:

    • Duties and responsibilities are typically performed on the Casino Floor in a fast-paced, guest-smoking environment, with constant exposure to general public and excessive noise.
    • At times this position may require being in a confined environment.
    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
