Responsibilities

Assists in planning and implementation of marketing department initiatives. Responsible for the coordination of printing, production, social media and distribution of advertising.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Interfaces with all department heads to ensure timely development of creative materials for all property promotions.
  • Responsible for all aspects of property signage: planning, development and execution/installation, and budgetary accountability for same.
  • Assist in developing and managing internet marketing program.
  • Coordinates production schedule.
  • Responsible for tracking and scheduling all copy, art, lists, cost estimates, invoices and other material through every stage of production.
  • Coordinates radio production: radio, television and on-hold messages.
  • Coordinates photo shoots for printed material, social media and advertising.
  • Coordinates outdoor advertising production and installation.
  • Coordinates social media initiatives and digital advertising campaigns.
  • Obtain bids and initiate purchases in accordance with company policy.
  • Work with Purchasing, Receiving and Warehouse on inventory and deliveries.
  • Maintains files of all completed production jobs.
  • Conducts themselves in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, and Seminole Tribe of Florida/departmental policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Service Initiative:

  • Create and ensure a fun-filled, entertaining and exciting environment with the five F’s - Fast, Fun, Friendly, Fresh and Focused
  • Treat Guests with a sense of caring and individuality while effectively identifying their specific needs
  • Inform Supervisor of Guest needs which may require special accommodations
  • Show special recognition of frequent Guests
  • Maintain a safe, clean and comfortable environment for Guests at all times
  • Consistently welcome Guests, thank them for their patronage, seek ways to make them comfortable and express the desire to have them return
  • Present a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance at all times
  • Maintain constant awareness of services, promotions, and events offered at the facility and inform Guests
  • Handle Team Member and Guest concerns/dissatisfaction and disputes timely and professionally to the Team Member/Guest satisfaction, while maintaining financial responsibility
  • Promote positive public relations and create an enjoyable atmosphere for all
  • Inspect and ensure a clean, safe working environment, notify appropriate departments to handle deficient situations
  • Maintain a professional and positive relationship with vendors, Guests and co-workers
  • Create a work environment that is safe, professional, friendly and conducive to a high level of morale, productivity and performance
  • Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures
  • Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discretely notifying appropriate management of concerns
  • Ensure prompt and discrete notification to management and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the duties and responsibilities satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • A good eye for design and familiarity with basic graphic design mechanics: file formats, graphic design packages
  • Ability to multi-task with solid time management skills
  • Outstanding communication, writing and proof-reading abilities

  • High level of self-direction, self-motivation, and energy

  • Must possess proficient mathematical skills to include ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide, specific to position responsibilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A) from a four year college or university; preferably with coursework or equivalent experience in either business, advertising, marketing or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Basic understanding of image manipulation in Photoshop or similar programs (i.e. cropping, resizing, etc.)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint with high level of Excel proficiency.
  • Exposure to casino related environmental factors, including but not limited to second hand smoke, excessive noise, and stress related to servicing customers in a high pressure and fast paced environment. 
  • Must be able to stand for an entire shift and be able to continuously maneuver throughout the Casino.
  • Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
  • Must have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other office equipment.
  • Must be able to push, pull and lift 10-30 pounds and ability to bend, reach and stoop on a limited basis.

Work Environment:

  • May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke and excessive noise.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
  •  The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public.
