How we look & appear to each guest provides an important impression of our Company. The position is responsible for the oversight and coordination of the accounting activities


Essential duties include, but are not limited to:


  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and operational reports
  • Responsible for general ledger postings, preparation of journal entries, reconciliation of general ledger accounts with ledgers or other supporting documentation
  • Responsible for reconciliation of all bank accounts and the contacting of bank personnel for matters concerning the maintenance of those accounts
  • Responsible for payroll tax deposits and foreign winner tax deposits
  • Review of, and/or structuring of control procedures
  • Ensure that positive employee relations are maintained
  • Enforce all Accounting Department policies and procedures
  • Custodian of documents relating to receivables, capital assets, prepaid items and other assets
  • Make recommendations to strengthen or streamline current practices.
  • Audits various functions in Finance and other departments.
  • Gathers and maintains information to assist with Quarterly and Yearly Audits for Internal and External auditors.
  • Analyzes fluctuations in departmental results and variances from budgets.
  • Coordinates and supports business and financial planning, including short and long term financial forecasting.
  • Supports the annual budget process. Develops historical, current and potential future trend analysis.
  • Assesses and communicates financial and operating results to managers.
  • Responsible for monthly executive financial reporting requirements.
  • Develops financial and operating statements. Assists and/or presents information.
  • Demonstrates actions and behaviors that reinforce the Company’s Mission and Values of Communication, Integrity, Fun, Respect, Accountability, Passion and Dedication.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Must present an image of excitement, enthusiasm, and outgoing personality, while being able to project a professional demeanor.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, supplemented by a minimum of five years’ experience in bookkeeping or private accounting work; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • CPA preferred
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong mathematical aptitude
  • Ability to use good judgment in time sensitive situations
  • Experience with accounting software


Work Environment:

  • Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in a professional office setting, but there may be times where you will need to be on the Casino Floor or pass through this area. On the Casino Floor, you may be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke and excessive noise.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

First preference in hiring, training, promoting and in all other aspects of employment is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements. Second preference is given to members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet the job requirements.
