Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Slot Technical Supervisor the Kiosk Technician candidate is responsible for the ticket redemption machines as well as assisting the slot machine technician with repairs to the gaming machines on the casino floor. These duties include, but are not limited to, the application of electrical theory and electro mechanical skills to test, troubleshoot, repair and maintain the multiple ticket redemption and gaming machines.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma / GED required, technical training preferred, with a minimum of two (2) years gaming machine repair experience; and or equivalent education and experience.
  • Ability to identify and repair ticket redemption and gaming machine errors and malfunctions.
  • Be able to perform all calibrations, machine adjustments, and preventative maintenance in accordance with manufacture and gaming commission requirements and procedures.
  • Understand schematics and related technical documents as well the ability to effectively use a digital multi-meter and simple hand tools.
  • Ability to prioritize work requirements, handle deadlines, and keep superiors informed of any progress, change, or needs.
  • Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures
  • Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by  discretely notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations
  • Demonstrate actions and behaviors that reinforce the Company’s Mission and Values of Communication, Integrity, Fun, Respect, Accountability, Passion and Dedication
  • Ensure prompt and discrete notification to management and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations.
  • Candidate must have strong electro-mechanical skills and also be familiar with gaming machine repair and maintenance.
  • Technically proficient in the operation and repair of gaming machines hardware and software.
  • Candidate must display a constant commitment to excellence regardless of the task or responsibility.


Physical Demands:  
Candidate will frequently lift up to 50 pounds and operate a machine dolly (refrigerator dolly). Other requirements include frequent, standing, walking, stooping, bending, reaching, climbing steps and sitting.

 

Work Environment:

  • May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke and excessive noise.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
  • The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public.
