Responsibilities

Summary:

 Must possess working menu knowledge and all promotional specials.  Flawless navigation of the POS system to ensure that all guests’ checks are closed in a timely manner and tendered correctly.  Team members must demonstrate actions and behaviors that reinforce the Company’s mission, “Unconquered Vision, Unparalleled Service, Unlimited Future” and the values of Fast, Fun, Friendly, Fresh and Focused.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conducts themselves in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, and Seminole Tribe of Florida/departmental policies and procedures.
  • Greets guest at entrance to restaurant in a positive manner.
  • Obtains basic information from guest such as name, number in party, and seating preferences.
  • Ushers guests to seat location at a pace that is comfortable to the guests.
  • Promotes positive guest/employee relations.
  • Knowledge of Casino events and promotions.
  • Expediting the guests’ take-out experience.
  • Ensuring that all food items are present in takeout orders
  • Maintain a 1,000.00 dollar bank
  • Ensuring correct payments for all transactions.
  • Ensuring work area is clean and sanitized.

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 6 months experience in high volume food service, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA’s):

Must possess multitasking skills and be able to perform in a high volume outlet.

Must attend the serve safe class and obtain certification

Must have a working knowledge of food safety and sanitation

Must have working knowledge of the menu and the POS system

 

Language Skills:

Ability to read and understand all Seminole Tribe of Florida policies and procedures.

Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.

Must be able to complete standard Seminole Tribe of Florida forms and reports.

 

Mathematical Skills:

Must possess basic mathematical skills to include ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide specific to position responsibilities.

 

Reasoning Ability:

Must be able to function in a high paced and demanding environment and abide by company policies.  Must be able to anticipate the guests needs while delivering the 5 F’s.

 

 

 

 

Computer Skills:

Needs to be able to work on a touch screen POS terminal.  Transactions must be rung in with speed and accuracy.

 

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

Must apply for, obtain and remain eligible for the appropriate Seminole Tribal Gaming License.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an incumbent to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.

 

Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds. The employee is regularly required to use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.  The employee is required to stand and walk for a standard 8 hour shift.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, and depth perception.

 

Work Environment:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the duties and responsibilities of this position.

 

Position is typically performed on the hotel/casino floor with constant exposure to guests, smoke and loud  noise levels. 

 

Must maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment.

Must follow all safety guidelines and procedures outlined within company standards.
